Map: Google Maps
Put your foot in the footprint of the devil at the famous Frauenkirche in Munich. According to local legend when the church was being built in the 15th century, the builders made a deal with the devil to help them complete the construction quickly. In exchange, the devil requested that the church have no windows. The clever builders agreed, but when the church was finished, they cleverly constructed it so that when you stand at a certain point in the church, you cannot see any windows, thus making it appear as if there are none.
The devil, upon realizing he had been tricked, was furious and stamped his foot in anger, leaving behind a footprint in the floor of the church. The footprint, which is still visible today, is said to be the mark of the devil's anger at being outwitted by the cunning builders.
