The Roatán Cruise Port is located in Coxen Hole, the island's largest town and commercial hub. Upon disembarking, you’ll find taxis available just outside the terminal. It's about a five-minute taxi ride to the center of Coxen Hole, or you can take a local bus or shuttle service. If you’re planning to visit other parts of the island, such as West End or French Harbour, consider hiring a driver or joining a tour group for more convenience and flexibility.

You could also choose to visit one of the pools or bars. There are also plenty of great choices for inexpensive shore excursions for sale from vendors in the port.

This animal sanctuary allows guests to meet rescued monkeys and sloths in a friendly, educational setting. The sanctuary is a favorite among animal lovers of all ages. The sanctuary also includes a zipline course.
We booked the “Zip and Dip” package which included a run on the zipline course, time with the monkeys, sloths, and other animals at the sanctuary, and two hours at a beach club. The tour also included transportation to and from the port. Our total for two people was $155 USD.
