It’s easy to get from the Dubrovnik Port To Old Town. There are options for public bus, taxi, or transport provided by your cruise ship.

Upon docking at the Port of Dubrovnik, you’ll find it easy to get to the city center. The quickest and most convenient way is by taxi, available directly at the port. Uber is also widely available in Dubrovnik. The journey typically takes about 10-15 minutes and will likely cost under 10€. Alternatively, public buses (lines 1A, 1B, 3, and 8) run frequently and take around 15-20 minutes to reach the Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks or directly from the driver.

Dubrovnik’s compact city center is best explored on foot. Once you arrive at the Pile Gate walking is the most practical way to navigate the narrow streets and historic sites of the Old Town.

Bicycles and scooters can be rented for a unique way to see more of the city and its surroundings.

Parking in Dubrovnik is extremely challenging. Local residents often rent extra spots in their private driveways and garages to day trippers.
