You’ll take the M25 motorway, exit at Junction 11, and follow the A320 to Thorpe Park. Thorpe Park Parking
As you approach the park you’ll see plenty of handy signs directing you to the parking lot. Standard Thorpe Park parking costs £10 per day. The parking lot is within a short walking distance from the park entrance.

Staines to Thorpe Park
Once you reach the station it is very easy to get from Staines to Thorpe Park. A shuttle bus to Thorpe Park runs regularly throughout the day whenever the park is open. Payment for the bus costs £4 round trip (return) per person. Payment is made when boarding the bus with cash or card. Note that you cannot use your Oyster Card for payment on the bus. Don’t lose your paper receipt, this serves as your return ticket.
The Thorpe Park Express is operated by Sullivan Buses. The Thorpe Park coach bus is blue in color and parks right outside of the Staines station. It says “Thorpe Park Express” across the top of the bus. You can’t miss it. The Thorpe Park bus runs on route 950.
Thorpe Park Coach Bus
It is possible to take a coach bus to Thorpe Park from destinations across England. National Express provides coach bus services to nearby London Heathrow Airport. From Heathrow, you can take the 446 Bus at Hatton Cross Station (Stop A) to Thorpe Park. This journey will take about an hour. You could also choose to hire a taxi or rideshare to the park. The drive is about 20 minutes.

One Shot Theme Park Fastrack - Starts at £10. This Fastrack allows you to skip one line once. This option is ideal during the busiest parts of the day or to sneak in one final “must ride” before park closing time.
Hydration Fastrack - This water ride pass starts at £10 and lets you skip the line to ride the wave on Tidal Wave, Rumba Rapids, and Storm Surge. This is a great way to get a quick cooldown on a hot day.
Thrill Fastrack - This £20 pass lets you pick and skip any five lines on The Walking Dead: The Ride, Flying Fish, Vortex, Zodiac, Detonator, Quantum, Samurai, Rush, or Big Easy Bumpers.
Coasters Fastrack - This pass lets you skip the line for five different coasters. Your choices are Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, SAW – The Ride, and THE SWARM. This Fastrack starts at £32.
Ultimate Fastrack - For £100 you can skip the line for the park’s top 18 attractions. You also get one free refillable Coca-Cola drink bottle. Note that the park’s newest coaster, Hyperia is excluded.

Opening Times For Thorpe Park
Thorpe Park opening times and Thorpe Park closing times vary depending on the time of year, day of the week, and weather. Always check the park’s website for the current Thorpe Park opening times and hours.
The park almost always opens at 10 am daily. Thorpe Park closing times vary but are typically 5 pm, 6 pm, or 7 pm. The park is often open as late as 9 pm during the Halloween Fright Nights events.
It’s advisable to arrive at least 30 minutes before opening to get a head start on the crowds. You can enter some parts of the park before the rides start up at 10 am. Be sure to head to the most popular rides first (e.g., Stealth, Hyperia) to avoid long waits later.
Thorpe Park Height Restrictions
Many rides have height restrictions for safety reasons. Double-check these on the Thorpe Park website before your visit. In addition to height, some rides in the park have maximum chest, torso, and thigh restrictions.

The park map and information boards list height restrictions for each ride. Attendants will check anyone who looks like they may be under the minimum height before being allowed to board the ride.
Note that Ghost Train, Saw: The Ride, and Walking Dead: The Ride require riders to be age 13+.
Thorpe Park Lockers and Storage
Large lockers are available after the entrance inside the large central The Dome building. Smaller, single-use lockers are available near major rides for storing personal items while enjoying the ride.
Lockers are rented on a timed basis, with larger lockers costing more. Keep change handy for the machines. Large lockers are £10, small are £5.

Thorpe Park’s newest coaster is Hyperia. This record-breaking coaster is the tallest and fastest in the UK. With speeds up to 80mph this new attraction is sure to be a delight.
Stealth
Stealth is one of the UK’s fastest roller coasters, launching riders from 0-80 mph in under 2 seconds. The ride features a vertical climb and a 205-foot drop.
The Swarm
Our favorite ride of the day Stealth is the UK’s first winged roller coaster. We loved the smooth ride, inversions, and near-miss head-chopper elements. The ride is themed around an apocalyptic alien invasion, with immersive effects like a crashed plane and an upside-down squad car. Be sure to experience the ride from both the left and right wings for different perspectives.
Saw – The Ride
Jigsaw is back with a horror-themed roller coaster based on the Saw movie franchise, featuring a beyond-vertical drop. The ride combines thrilling drops and inversions with chilling thematic elements and special effects. Suitable for horror fans and thrill-seekers riders must be aged 13+.
Colossus
Colossus is a wild ride known for its 10 inversions, including corkscrews, loops, and a quadruple barrel roll. The ride’s multiple inversions and tight turns make it a must-ride for coaster enthusiasts. Hold on tight and brace yourself for the intensity of the multiple inversions.
Nemesis Inferno
This inverted roller coaster with a jungle theme, features loops, rolls, and corkscrews. Nemesis Inferno is Known for its smooth ride and intense inversions. Try to sit in the front row for the best view.
Walking Dead: The Ride
This immersive experience is based on the hit television show and graphic novels. The entire coaster is located indoors with riders zipping through total darkness. It’s a must-ride for fans of the series.
Ghost Train at Thorpe Park
Due to the frightening elements of this attraction, the park asks that riders be thirteen years old and above. Complete with special effects, live actors, and motion simulation this ride is an experience all on its own.
Zodiac at Thorpe Park
The park likes to brag that Zodiac lets riders defy gravity. Riders board small caged cabins that spin in a raising circular motion.

Rumba Rapids
This is a gentle river rapids ride through a tropical-themed setting. It’s a family-friendly ride with moderate splashes and scenic views. We managed to stay almost completely dry on the ride.
Depth Charge
Depth Charge is a full-on multi-lane water slide where riders race to the bottom in tiny rafts. You will get wet as you compete to be the first to the bottom.
Tidal Wave
A massive drop that creates a huge splash is the feature of Tidal Wave. The ride is known for getting riders soaking wet. Ride on a warm day or wear a poncho and bring a change of clothes.
Amity Beach
Lined with real sand this giant pool is a great place to enjoy on a summer day. Kids can play in the water, build sandcastles, and cool off while mom and dad relax in the sunshine.

Fun and scary areas of the park called scare zones feature actors dressed as zombies, ghosts, and other creatures. The goal of these scare actors is to scare the daylights out of you. Some family-friendly events like trick-or-treat trails, costume competitions, and spooky shows are also available.
